Many moons ago, Dave kicked things off with David Spicer Digger Hire. Fast forward a few decades (more than he'd care to admit), and that one-man operation has grown into Sumo Drainage — a trusted name in drainage, earthworks, and building platform preparation.
Over the years, Dave has expanded both his fleet and his crew, keeping the business family-run and future-focused.
His son Ryan has spent the last decade learning the ropes under Dave’s guidance, mastering the precision and experience that defines every Sumo Drainage job.
Today, the Sumo Drainage fleet consists of — a 1.7-tonne digger for precision pipework, a 5-tonne for mid-size jobs, and a 12-tonne for those heavy hitters.
